Granite Installation Process
1.Surface Preparation
a.Ensure the base surface is clean, level, and strong.
b.Remove dust, oil, and debris before installation.
2.Layout Planning
a.Do a dry layout to match pattern and colors.
b.Mark alignment lines for accurate placement.
3.Apply Adhesive
a.Use cement mortar or granite glue (like epoxy or marble fix.)
b.Apply evenly on both the slab and the surface.
4.Placing Granite
a.Carefully place granite slabs on the surface.
b.Tap gently with a rubber mallet for proper positioning.
5.Leveling & Alignment
a.Use a spirit level to ensure even surface.
b.Maintain uniform gaps between slabs for grouting.
6.Grouting the Joints
a.Fill gaps with suitable grout or resin-based filler.
b.Match the grout color with the granite shade.
7.Cleaning the Surface
a.Wife off excess adhesive and grout.
b.Clean the surface with a soft cloth and cleaner.
8.Curing
a.Allow the surface to set for 24-48 hours.
b.Avoid walking or placing weight on it during this period.
9.Polishing (If needed)
a.Final Polish for a smooth and shiny finish.
b.Use polishing pads or machines for large areas.
10.Sealing (Optional)
a.Apply a granite sealer for protection against stains.
b.Especially recommended for kitchen and bathroom tops.
